These terms govern your use of alphadevhq.com and the Alpha Dev Stores platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

1. The service

Alpha Dev Stores lets you build a one-page or multi-page website for your business from a set of pre-designed templates, publish it at a web address like yourbusiness.alphadevhq.com, and manage it from a dashboard. Alpha Dev separately offers fully custom web and app development, which is scoped and agreed on a per-project basis outside of these terms.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when signing up, including a working phone number for verification. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. One account may own more than one store, and each store is billed separately.

3. Free to build, pay to publish

You can design and preview your store at no cost. A paid plan is required only to publish it live. Plans are billed monthly in advance at the prices and tiers shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Prices may change for future billing periods; we'll make any change visible on the site before it applies to you.

4. Billing, grace periods and pausing

Subscriptions renew automatically each month. If a payment fails, your store is not taken down immediately — it enters a short grace period, after which it's paused (replaced with a simple "temporarily unavailable" page) until payment resumes. We don't delete your store or its content for a missed payment; cancel anytime from your dashboard.

5. Your content

You own the content you upload — your business name, text, logo, and photos. By publishing a store, you give Alpha Dev the right to host, display, and serve that content as part of operating the platform. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you upload, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

6. Templates and platform ownership

The page templates, platform code, and design system belong to Alpha Dev. Subscribing gives you a license to use your chosen template to present your own content for as long as your store is live — it doesn't transfer ownership of the template design itself.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Alpha Dev Stores to publish anything illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights; to impersonate another business or person; or to attempt to disrupt, abuse, or gain unauthorized access to the platform. We may suspend or remove a store that breaches this section, with notice where reasonably possible.

8. The Explore directory

Published stores may be listed in our public Explore directory. Inclusion is subject to a quality review and remains at Alpha Dev's discretion — we can decline to list, or remove, any store from Explore without it affecting your store's own live page.

9. Service availability

We work to keep the platform reliable, but it's provided "as is" without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend features as the platform evolves.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Alpha Dev isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including losses caused by outages at third-party providers we rely on (such as our hosting, database, storage, or payment processor). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

11. Ending your account

You can cancel or close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, including extended non-payment or prohibited content, after a reasonable attempt to notify you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
